MinGent is free, open-source software. Nobody sells it, and nobody gives you a service by letting you download it. Please read this before you use it.

No warranty

MinGent is licensed under the MIT license, which comes with the source code. It is provided "as is", without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including the warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. The authors don't promise that it works, that it is safe for your use, or that it is free of errors.

No liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, the authors and contributors of MinGent are not liable for any claim, damage or other liability that comes from MinGent, this website, or your use of either. This includes lost or damaged files, lost data, lost profits or time, harm to your devices or accounts, costs you pay to model providers or other services, and anything the agent does or says. This applies whether the claim is based on contract, tort, negligence or anything else, even if we were told such damage was possible.

You are responsible for what the agent does

MinGent is an AI agent. Depending on the permissions you give it, it can read, change and delete files, run programs and commands, use websites, including sites where you are signed in, and send text to the model provider you choose. AI models make mistakes, and web pages and files can contain text written to trick them.

You decide what MinGent may do, and you are responsible for its actions on your computers and accounts. Keep backups, use Ask mode for anything you can't undo, check its work before you rely on it, and use it only on computers and accounts you are allowed to use.

Other services

MinGent can connect to services run by others: model providers such as Anthropic, OpenAI and Google, Hugging Face, GitHub, search engines and any website you or the agent open. Their own terms and privacy policies apply to what you send them, and the authors of MinGent don't control them. Models you download come with their own licenses, which you have to follow.

Trademarks

Windows is a trademark of Microsoft. Claude is a trademark of Anthropic, OpenAI is a trademark of OpenAI, and Gemini is a trademark of Google. Other names belong to their owners. MinGent is not affiliated with or endorsed by any of them.

This website

This site sets no cookies, has no analytics or trackers, and loads nothing from other sites. It is hosted on Cloudflare Pages, so Cloudflare handles the requests to it under its own privacy policy. The download comes from GitHub, under GitHub's terms.
